Additional Templates

If you would like to have unique product page templates or other templates for collections, blogs, and blog posts, you can create additional templates with your theme editor.

How to Create a New Template in Shopify

Follow these steps to create a new template in Shopify:

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin

• Go to your Shopify admin and sign in to your account.

2. Navigate to Online Store

• In the admin panel, click on Online Store and then select Themes.

3. Open the Theme Editor

• Under the "Current theme" section, click on Customize to open the Theme Editor.

4. Create a New Template

• In the Theme Editor, use the top dropdown menu to select the page type you want to customize (e.g., Products, Collections, Pages, etc.).
• Click on Create template.

• Enter a name for your new template and choose which existing template you want to base it on.
• Click Create template to save.

5. Customize Your Template

• Make your desired changes to the new template using the Theme Editor’s visual customization tools.
• Adjust sections, blocks, and settings as needed.
• Remember to click Save when you’re done.

6. Assign the Template

• Return to your Shopify admin and go to the relevant section (e.g., Products, Collections, or Pages).
• Open the item you want to assign the new template to.
• In the Theme template dropdown, select your newly created template and save.
